		<description>Went to Koh Samui a couple of years back and while it is still &quot;growing,&quot; still options to see the beauty.  Also, happened to be there on an earlier trip during the tsunami and so had to change plans from Phuket to Pranburi, which isn&#039;t &quot;far&quot; (an hour away or so) from the summer palace.  Still sleepy towns with squid drying in the sun.
there is an Evanson hotel there and there were a number of new developments already happening in 2003 so I wonder what it&#039;s like now?
