Do you consider Bermuda in the Caribbean just because they have a membership in CARICOM? Or what about Suriname or Guyana? Georgia might become a member of NATO but are they really any where close to the North Atlantic? The Caribbean is the body of water south of the Greater Antilles, East of Central America and Mexico, North of South America and West of the Lesser Antilles. It may seem trivial but I have noticed many errors in the some of the articles on this website lately and wanted to make the point. The Caribbean does not begin for nearly 500 miles south when you reach the Southern shore of W. Cuba. In no way can Abaco be considered the Caribbean.
