I lived in Braunton (10 mins from Croyde) last summer, and intend to return next year. I am fairly proficient at surfing and love low tide, also some reefs and points in the area. I visited Cornwall in March a couple years back and couldn't believe that kids were surfing in St. Ives - I was wearing mittens and a winter coat! Ah, the West Country!
